FINGERLESS GLOVES

I changed my mind - I didn't make a hat from the wool that I got in Sweden but instead some fingerless gloves. Perfect weather for them now that autumn is in full flow.

I'm lucky to have a pear tree in my garden and this year I have decided to make some cider - or should I say Perry with them. I will let you know how it goes.

They're something else. Perfect pear picking paraphenalia.

Gosh! Alliteration heaven - perfect pear picking paraphernalia. I agree - they are.

Ja jag är nog lite besatt - garnet var så snyggt så jag var tvungen. :)

Do you have a pattern for these? I would love to make some for my friend.

Hi Anon
Sorry I don't have a pattern for it. :( It was all crocheted in the round....

I crochet things of by heart and I never wrote down how I made them. Having said that I always find that looking and figuring out how to make something can sometime be easier then following a pattern. So have a go and if you can't then give me a shout.

what type of yarn do you use for apparel versus what you use for houseware?

Hi Anon
I think I stick to posher yarns when I crochet something for apparel use. Most of the houseware items are made out of cotton as it is easier to wash - I like it when things are easy!
