I love cherries and they are in season, at least here in the UK.
Saw this recipe for Cherry and apple fritters with fennel sugar by Yotam Ottolenghi
in the guardian Weekend magazine and it sounded so good that I had to try them out.
Can't go wrong with a dish that has fennel in it.
